Wisho Account Verification (KYC): How It Works

Wisho runs KYC checks to confirm who you are, where you live, and that the payment method belongs to you. The review happens after you upload documents in the account verification area and send clear photos or scans.

Wisho requests verification before processing certain withdrawals, when your cumulative deposits or withdrawals reach internal thresholds, after a change in personal details, or when activity triggers standard security checks (for example, multiple failed login attempts or a new device and location).

The platform may also ask for documents when you add a new card or switch to a different withdrawal method, because the name on the payment method has to match the account holder.

  • Identity (ID/Passport): A valid passport or national ID card. Submit a full-color image of the document, all corners visible, with no cropping or glare.   • Payment method: If you use a bank card, Wisho asks for a photo of the card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits; hide the middle digits and the CVV code. If you deposit with an e-wallet, Wisho may request a screenshot of the wallet profile page showing your name and account ID. For bank transfers, Wisho can ask for a statement that shows the account holder name and IBAN or account number.

Verification time depends on the quality of the upload and the queue. A straightforward check takes 15 minutes to 24 hours; manual review can take up to 48 hours when extra confirmation is needed.
